It’s Time to Get Equipped for This Battle
25 years ago, I lived in an emergency recovery home in Calgary, serving as a House Mom. Over a two year period, I lived with 43 young women fleeing the sex trade. I saw firsthand the violence and cruelty inflicted by pimps and johns (before we even used the term “traffickers”).
When smartphones arrived, I saw those same predators shift online—and gain unrestricted access to our children.
Knowing what I know, and having seen the grooming tactics firsthand, I knew I had to speak out. That’s what I’ve been doing ever since.

Naomi has delivered over 100 presentations to parents, kids, teens, churches, businesses, and community groups. As a mom of teens, she brings real-life insight and age-appropriate tools to equip adults and children alike on tough topics like: pornography, trafficking and grooming, social media harms, healthy phone habits and youth mental health.
